Pa. Public Utility Commission urges consumers to review energy bills | Pennsylvania News

HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) is urging consumers to review their energy bills as the hot summer months approach.

The reminder comes just before most electric distribution companies in the state are set to adjust rates on Saturday, June 1.

“Empower yourself this summer by staying informed and making smart energy choices,” said PUC Chairman Stephen DeFrank. ‘With the upcoming price changes and higher electricity usage typical during the hot summer months, now is the perfect time to review your electric bills and supplier contracts, understand your rates, and explore all available options to save on energy costs.”
