CARTERVILLE, Ill. — A local businesses celebrated its 25th anniversary on Saturday morning.
AES Solar in Carterville first opened in 1999. The Carterville Chamber of Commerce held a special ribbon cutting for AES to mark the special occasion.
AES is an installer of solar panels for the region. The company prides itself on it’s 100% local strategy.
The company’s website says, in the last 25 years, its workers have installed over one million watts of solar power across hundreds of houses.
“Our mission is to power a sustainable economy by bringing in renewable energy to America’s neighborhoods,” the site reads. “That means lowering your energy bills and making sure you get the best incentives possible.”
